SUCH a big boy!

Sean is really getting to the point now where he does NOT want to be fed. He's not a baby after all you know! Tonight was a realy task trying to get him to eat anything, but finally he started eating his applesauce. He was so funny with how wide he had to open his mouth to get the bite in, but check out how big of a boy he is feeding himself!

Balloons and Mickey

My co-worker and good friend, Stacey, got me balloons for my birthday yesterday. She got one that has Mickey Mouse on it since she know how much Sean likes it. I lef tthe other two at work to enjoy a little longer, but I had to bring the Mickey Mouse one home.

When Jamie and Sean got home tonight, it was the first thing that Sean noticed... and he went crazy! He spent the entire night carrying it around. He was even giving Mickey (on the balloon) kisses! Thank you Stacey from me AND Sean! :-)

Sean and his Handy Manny jammies...

Nothing too special about this picture, except for one cute little guy jammin' to his tunes. Don't you love the two finger dance?!? He cracks me up...

Just chillin'

Like Jamie always says, it's hard work being this cute! Sometimes, you just have to lay down and chill. And doesn't my baby look awfully cute doing just that?!?

Party!!!

Friday night we got to celebrate my birthday with some of our very best friends (Greg/Meagan and Mason/Kelly). We went to the Ribeye and of course, ate way too much! Here are some pictures!

Isn't Kelly beautiful!

And checkout THIS pretty lady (aka - Meagan)

What a stud (or geek - you pick)

Jenn and Meagan

Aren't Jamie and Greg so cute sharing the sundae?!?

And finally - the three amigas!

Sean and Natalie...

This past Saturday some of our friends met us at Mom and Dad's for a little swimming and a BBQ. Sean (being the waterbug that he is) of course had a wonderful day. But for those of you have not seen pictures of his darling girlfriend Natalie, here you go! Oh yeah, and there is one of Jamie "swimming" too!

Getting big...

So the last week or so I just feel like Sean has changed so much! I was looking at his feet tonight and THEY even look like they are bigger! It's hard to tell seeing as how we see him every day, but every now and then he does something to show me my little baby is getting big.

We have one of those toolbox toys where you take the hammer and "pound" the shapes in the their respective place. We've played with this toy for the last month, but last night Sean walked over, got the toy and started playing. As Jamie and I watch him, he took every piece and put it in the correct hole - one by one - with NO help! I just can't believe it! I mean, I know all kids figure it out eventually, but this is MY baby we're talking about!!! It just blew my mind! Here he is tonight playing with the same toy (in his cool new jammies!)

Yum or Ick?

Tonight I tried a new recipe (NOT a good one). I felt bad that it was SO bad I decided to make brownies for Jamie. Sean loves to stir (your ice in your drink, air, you name it - he stirs it), so I thought it would be fun to have him "help" Mommy. He loved the stirring...

... But when I tried to get him to try a little from the bowl, he just wasn't so sure about that...

... This was the "Mommy, please get this nasty stuff off my fingers" look...

Ready, Set, GO!!!

So when we were having all the rain a couple weeks ago, Jamie decided it would be nice to bring Sean's slide in to the sunroom so that he could still use it (he would stare out the window pointing at it while it was raining... it was a sad sight!)

Needless to say, we have to go down the thing about a million times before dinner! Gotta work up that appetite! Here are a few pictures from tonight.

Ready (yes, having the tongue out helps)...

Set...

GO!!!

Our little bookworm...

We're trying to stop having Sean watch so much TV (mostly for selfish reasons... Jamie and I are SO burnt out on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Handy Manny). But, we know too much TV is not a good thing either. Thus enters the books! When he gets to reading, he has to have lots of books out - afterall, you never know what you are going to be in the mood to read!

I love this picture... it's an alphabet book that has a picture for each letter. When it comes to "Y", there is a mirror to look at "you". Sean giggles every time he sees his reflection and always gives himself kisses in the mirror. Gee, where would he get that from?!?

Still lovin' bathtime

I'm telling you, this child just cannot get enough of bathtime. If you ask him if he wants to take a bath, he'll march right into the bathroom and start pointing at the tub and try to climb in! It's pretty funny!

Sean and his buddy Owen

Sunday night we got to babysit Owen. We had SUCH a fun time! Owen and Sean weren't too sure about each other at first (even though they've seen each other a million times... including the day before), but ten minutes later they were sharing a snack!

Isn't Owen a doll?!?

4th of July - What a weekend! (Part 1)

Wow did we have a fun weekend! Jamie took the WHOLE weekend off, so we got to spend lots of time with him!

We started the 4th off at the annual parade in Elaine and Rick's neighborhood. Everyone meets in front of this one house (with a big banner and flag) and is led by a (real) firetruck! We just walk/ride/bike/wagon around the block once, but it's a lot of fun. All of the kids are dressed up (and most of the adults too!) and whether it's a bike, stroller, wagon, car, scooter, you name it, they all come decked out! This year there was even a dog with it's toenails painted red and blue! Here are a few pictures of us getting ready for the parade.

Here are a few pictures from the parade itself... the rain held out and it was perfect!

Here is Nick, Sean and Kyle after the walk (and in between bites of cookies!)

What a weekend - Part 2

So after the parade, we went over to my friend Allie's for a cookout. Sean loves going over there to hang out with her triplets (yes, you read that right). They refer to him as "Baby Sean" and are just as sweet as can be with him! They are very protective and just love him to pieces. They are really great kids!

Here are Sean, Ian and Avery getting the table ready to eat!

Here's Evan just being cute! He's getting so big!!!

Sean was having a great time in their HUGE yard. He found one of the boy's bikes and was determined to ride it (even though his feet didn't reach the peddles!)
