ANOTHER tooth!

Today when I picked the munchkins up from daycare, Nathan's teacher said that he was a little fussy today... she said that they gave him some Tylenol and that seemed to help, but they thought it might be his teeth trying to come through.

Well sure enough, when we got home today, there was another white line poking through! Yes folks, that's two teeth in four days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a BIG DAY!

My baby has his first tooth!!! Yep - he'll be 11 months next week, and we finally got a tooth! We're thrilled since this tooth has been trying to make its debut for over just about four months... there are several more that are right there, so he may have a mouthful by his birthday. Either way, it's the cutest little white line I've ever seen!

MVC Tournament

The beginning of this month, Jamie and I went to St. Louis with Ryan and Jodi (one of my best friend's from college) to watch the Missouri Valley Conference tournament (Arch Madness). MVC is the conference that SIU (GO SALUKIS!) belong to. Unfortunately, they are terrible this year and lost their first game. However, it was an exciting game none the less! They ended up losing in the last 1.5 seconds by ONE POINT! Jamie and I both agreed it was like watching the Illini play, but I digress...

It was the first time we have ever been away from Nathan overnight (thanks Sis!) and I think I did pretty well! I mean, I only called a few (dozen) times.

We had SUCH a great time - I'm still smiling thinking about how much fun we had! We are ready to go back next year... So, so, so much fun! Basketball, friends, overpriced arena food/drinks - what more could a girl ask for?!?

Here are some of my favorite pictures from the weekend:

Rock Star part 2

Sean still loves to "play" the guitar (Rock Band), but he really likes singing these days. In fact, he will sing anything, any chance he can get (going potty, brushing his teeth, eating a banana, etc.)! I guess he's like his Daddy that way - turning his life into a muscial! :-)

This video is really dark (sorry), but listen to him singing "Eye of the Tiger". Granted he likes the song because it has the word Tiger in it, but still!

Mr. Martha Stewart

Cause you just can't teach them to help around the house too young!!!

It's a... GIRL!

So many people have said to us, "I wonder if you had a girl if she would look like Jamie?" Cause you know, a Mommy can never get too tired of hearing that her kids look nothing like her... anyway, I digress.

Well, I have a feeling the answer would be a firm yes. So just to prove it to you, here is a picture of Nathan with a bow in his hair. What do you think - a pretty girl or handsome boy?!? :-)
